I Have Failed... friends said I either didn't work hard enough at working out of the problem or that I was born to dig ditches until I die... take your pick, I got no sympathy!!!!!! what are friends for!!!!!!

Wow... What A Week It Was!! Yes, I got it all done, with no time to spare. But it got done, new tenants moved in and I haven't had a complaint. In fact the entire batch -4 houses- haven't complained... maybe they don't have my phone number or e-mail... well, I'll leave it that way... but they all paid... personally, the price was high, fortunately, the people I relied on all came through... I really like it when that happens.

And the owners didn't miss a day's rent... I just missed a lot of sleep and added a few more blood pressure pills to my diet... One more set of clients to move in on Wednesday... but no fully my problem... A couple little things to sort out this week, my butt is going to marry the hammock, and the liquor cabinet will get well used...

To Do List: health care planning and assessment... this is now up front on my agenda... and I am working on another piece of the life changing puzzle... I wish I had been told about all this s...t I would have to deal with... I might have decided not to get old.

Today: one motorcycle down... didn't look good... car was dented... bike was bad!!! driver? didn't see him but I didn't see a red blanket either so...

Taj Majal: our favorite Indian food place... under new ownership... went with the Friday Lunch Bunch... confusing, 4 different menu's, all expensive... 10 of us walked out... prices were unreal... I will simply not support mediocre restaurants with high prices... simply not doing it... no thanks... too bad... but one of our tenants is Indian and when I picked up rent, the food smelled WONDERFUL!! aahh possibilities... for home cooked curries...

Several people looking to rent but I don't have anything until April 5. One of those looking I met up with twice. The had gone through 4 different agents and me twice... and still wanted to negotiate... they are looking at $1,400 units and want a discount to their budget which is probably around $700. What a waste of everyone's time. Another couple was looking to buy... just looking, just thinking, just wondering, just... nothing there.

1. Britts: direct air connections increase the attractiveness of CR. We now have direct flights from Germany, England, Spain, France, and Switzerland... as a result, European visitors are increasing. We also have increased access from the US west coast which was a bit difficult to access. It still isn't perfect with many transits through Texas or Arizona but there are more direct, non-stop flights from LA, SF, and Portland...

2. Stress... interesting, many Ticas are stressed. Maybe they should give up their cell phones while driving...

United Kingdom visitors to Costa Rica increased 50 percent in 2016. Tourist officials believe the launching of a British Airways flight on April 27, 2016, between the UK and CR went a long way to meet demand.
