Brian Timmons Dear friends, When I started Residencias Los Jardines, I started writing a weekly newsletter -determined to tell all the good, bad, and the ugly. I knew some readers would be interested in the construction process. I expected others might be interested in the lifestyle of two people who had decided to live outside the box. For others, the adventures of Lita, the parrot and the cat took on an entertainment saga all its own. Residencias Los Jardines is finished. We periodically have re-sales and rental availability. Some readers may be interested in this information. Brian Timmons |

The floor plan of each of these units has eliminated the optional "den / office" divider. The result is a larger area offering more flexible furniture arrangements while still maintaining the option of including an office area. At 105m2 plus two parking spots each and storage locker, they offer a great opportunity for someone seeking views, security, central location, and first class, all round living... Our Lives
What Happened This WeekWeather: Normal... the wind's showed up... StoriesComment: After years of unstable and unsatisfactory internet and that single issue being the main complaint by many, we have money in the bank thanks to the Treasure's last budget and our prudent administration since, we have staff focused on their tasks, we have the addition of irrigation systems and a dedicated person for watering / cleaning, what we expect to be a competent accountant to keep us organized and legal with reporting requirements, and we have not had a significant break-down of any infrastructure issues lately... ...it is now almost a pleasure to manage this place. Housing Development: For 20 years the contiguous lot to our south has remained undeveloped. About 6 mo. ago, development work started... Initially I was told it was to develop lots with an infrastructure in place. Now is see what appears to be townhouses being built. This is the only remaining side of our lot which has not been developed. While it adds more cars to a busy street, it does provide additional perimeter security. Security Cameras: Still on my list of "to dos". Doneste Administration: No response from owners. The meeting agenda is now prepared and sent. There has been no responses this past week. It appears it is going to be a very quiet meeting. Foreclosure-La Trinidad: I wait. Unfortunately, I am getting ready to foreclose on another property... I have been working with the borrower for several months now and he is not fulfilling his commitments... Hope for the Future: The above "Comment" notwithstanding, I may have found a solution for my replacement. I am cautiously optimistic. Too early to tell... I was told the person I am looking for doesn't exist... I never accepted that assessment... and now I have proof... we'll see. Investment Business: Concluded one short term deal and have committed to and working on closing a longer term deal with a new partner. We continue to look for additional opportunities. CAJA (Social Medicine System): The whole story is long and convoluted but this particular segment is simple. Lita had been dropped from the system. I had a meeting set up to get her re-inscribed. At the meeting they did a scan of our payment history. In June 2013 neither she nor I had paid... why? We were switching from one classification to a different classification and were not invoiced or ????? who knows. That had to be paid with interest penalties... we had to schedule another appointment-next week... |
