Brian Timmons Dear friends, When I started Residencias Los Jardines, I started writing a weekly newsletter -determined to tell all the good, bad, and the ugly. I knew some readers would be interested in the construction process. I expected others might be interested in the lifestyle of two people who had decided to live outside the box. For others, the adventures of Lita, the parrot and the cat took on an entertainment saga all its own. Residencias Los Jardines is finished. We periodically have re-sales and rental availability. Some readers may be interested in this information. Brian Timmons |

rentals & sales Paradisus Condos / Rohrmoser Each of the units consists of two bedrooms / two bathrooms, and a large living/dining/kitchen area. The floor plan of each of these units has eliminated the optional "den / office" divider. The result is a larger area offering more flexible furniture arrangements while still maintaining the option of including an office area. At 105m2 plus two parking spots each and storage locker, they offer a great opportunity for someone seeking views, security, central location, and first class, all round living... PRICE REDUCTION |

Our Lives
What Happened This WeekWeather: Less and less rain / winds have not yet really started but normally appear over the next couple weeks. We are still rehabing irrigation and and have readied the battery operated watering devices..we will be installing them this coming week. Garden: Continuing on maintenance -lighting repairs / pipe / valve repairs. StoriesInternet: This has been the biggest issue this past week. Multiple power outages which raise hell with switches which are supposedly isolated thru UPS systems which don't seem to really do the job... This week, we decided to move ahead on arranging for a second service provider. I had asked for an assessment of which company was the most realiable inour area and got Telecable... (smaller / newer company). I contacted them, arrange a contract, they said installtion would be within two days, 15 min. later I was contacted by the installer, and 15 min after that, three people and a truck showed up and installed their service. Wow... now, I just have to buy/install the equipment which blends the two services and processes the upload/download signals... hopefully, this will eliminate some of our problems but it will not eliminate all of them. We still get power outages / blips and these raise hell with electronics... regardless of the supposed isolation we have via UPS... the "smart" switches are suppose to re-boot automatically -like a lot of promises... doesn't always work... And I am told that one of the three undersea cable links servicing CR has been damaged and is causing country wide problems... however, none of this stops my phone from ringing with complaints. Shareholder Registration: Progress but slow. Scotiabank: No bombs this week... Life / Death: Sad events: Two friends, one who made a big contribution to my life in Canada and here in CR are in serious / terminal health ...both, quite independently contracted the same cancer within months of each other which started with a kidney removal, then further surgeries, then spread to lymphatic + cancer, each underwent respective chemo treatments -one in Canada, one here in CR- and after three years of grueling lifestyle, are likely to expire within weeks of one another... this is affecting me big time and it isn't yet over... Wipe out!!: A long traffic line up returning one day from sourcing items. At the foot of our street (T intersection)... it appears a motorcyclist was speeding on the inside only to hit broadside a car pulling onto the road... driver had no way of seeing the motorcyclist -the motorcycle was a mangled piece of junk / driver was, I am told hurt really badly- he must have been really speeding -I could not see the car/truck- whatever it was that he hit... Darwin strikes again!!!!! |
