What Happened This Week:

A Missed Week: I don't really know what happened here because I had to make a quite trip to Canada to deal with some government paperwork which could easily have been done by mail. Instead I had to travel 3,000 mi and spend $2,000​ for a 15 show-my-face event. I am back, and with a cold... I never return from Canada without a cold...and am trying to catch up on work here.

Marketing:

Santa Fe: No calls

Distritcuatro: One viewing a 3rd time. We'll see.

Rentals: Only the short term rental and one of the recently leased units will be coming back on the market. It seems the client is "unsteady"...

Heredia House: Looking good / looking lonely. The one viewing liked the house and the price and the financing but decided they wanted to live on the south side of the valley... Escazu...

Residencias Los Jardines: The long overdue general assembly has been called for August 11. There is an ambitious agenda which I think will prove difficult to manage but we will get through it. One unexpected development is that the Secretary resigned... he really hadn't done any of his job description--which is now being formalized as is all the officer positions -and he is leaving Los Jardines (building a new home / trying to sell is home at Los Jardines) and he represents a different way of operating than the current president. After some discussions, he felt it best to resign.

Canada: It was a quick trip and only had time for family and a few Toronto based friends. The weather cooperated until the day I left -it rained... The next morning after arriving here, I read about a mass shooting in the area we live and frequent... Seems like the shooter was loco -no place is safe from locos... My nephew and his friend was murdered by a loco neighbor. Canada put him in prison for the insane, gave him some pills, and let him out again. Meanwhile his widow and two children grow up without him. No restitution. No penalty. No justice. I expected more... it helped me move to CR where I expect nothing.
